Check availabilityThe (family) camping La Chapelle is located in the lively centre of Argelès-sur-Mer, just 5 minutes from the sea. This 5-star camping of Homair is situated in the heart of lively Argelès with everything within walking distance: supermarket, shops, terraces and the sea. A kilometre long car-free promenade runs along the wide sandy beach with a beautiful view of the sea. In spite of its central location in Argelès-sur-Mer, the camping has a quiet atmosphere. A beautiful pool complex, all kinds of sports and games activities and a pleasant seaside resort nearby make for the ideal beach holiday. Of all the camping in Argelès-sur-Mer directly by the sea, this is one of our favourites.
Hours of entertainment in the pool complex
The children will have hours of fun in the large pool complex at camping La Chapelle, with no fewer than 4 pools, slides and 1 children pools. The slides are 80 metres long! There is also a fun water playground! Ideal is also that one pool is covered and heated, for the colder days. Around the pools are sunbeds that you can use for free. You need to wear a bracelet to access the pools and activities. This bracelet is given to you upon arrival at the campsite and is free for the duration of your stay. Every week we organize fun activities in the swimming pool such as aqua gym. For a cool drink or a snack you can go to the pool bar. The slides are closed daily between 12.00 - 14.00.
In addition to the beautiful pool complex, you'll find even more water fun in the sea, just 200 metres from the camping.On the beach you have the possibility to rent sun loungers and various water sports equipment such as surfboards, canoes and water scooters. On the beach you can even find some playing opportunities, such as a ball pit.
Lots of facilities in and around camping La Chapelle
As camping La Chapelle is situated in the middle of Argelès, there are many facilities just outside the camping, such as a supermarket, souvenir shops and several restaurants. However, you can also get fresh rolls and croissants every day at the camping and have a drink in the new camping bar. You can also go to the camping for a takeaway pizza.
During the peak season, La Chapelle has a lot of daily activities for young and old. The kids can join the mini-club. Various activities are organised in the evenings, including a mini disco and games for the children. On a few evenings there's live music. With the camping wristband you can also take part in various sports and game activities, such as tennis, football, volleyball and and hours of play in one of the playgrounds.

Surroundings of camping La Chapelle and Argelès-sur-Mer
Argelès-sur-Mer is a largely car-free holiday village with many shops, restaurants, bars, discotheques, a cinema, a casino and weekly markets. Both during the day and in the evening it is lovely to walk around here. In the port all kinds of water sports activities are organised such as diving, boat trips, surfing and sea fishing.
The picturesque seaside resort of Collioure is just a stone's throw from La Chapelle and 10 km from the camping is the Lunapark amusement park and a large golf course. You can also sign up for various excursions from Argelès-sur-Mer to Perpignan, Carcassonne or Barcelona, among others, as well as for guided hikes!
