Your personal camping welcome!

When you arrive at your destination, a warm welcome awaits you from our own host! At every campsite, our campsite host are ready to assist you. Usually, these are Dutch couples over 45 years old, but nowadays you can also meet international and younger host.

Campground host sometimes return to the same campsite for years, they know the campsite inside out. All Roan campsite host have had professional training and most of them have a lot of experience.

Enthusiasm and experience are the Roan host trump cards; experience in their own lives, usually they have children of their own and often grandchildren as well as experience with the ins and outs of a camping holiday.

Always a welcome with a smile!

Getting to know each other with a cold drink, telling who is who and where to find everything on the campsite, and then often walking together to your tent, lodge tent or mobile home. If you need information about the area or other practical matters, you can always call on them. Even if you need a doctor, dentist or garage, for example, they are there for you. Our employees are also familiar with the area and have a lot of practical information about the surroundings or interesting tips for visits and excursions in the region. You will often come across our host when they walk around the accommodation to have a chat. In addition, you will find all the collected tips about sights, excursions and restaurants in the Roan reception.

Not surprisingly, most of the positive reactions we receive every year after the holidays have to do with our host services at the campsite.

Most campsites have Dutch-speaking teams at your service, while on some you will find English-speaking host. In Croatia, you will be welcomed by Croatian campsite host who speak excellent English and/or German.
