The fantastic swimming pool complex on the Playa Montroig Camping Resort comprises of four large swimming pools, totalling a staggering 2000 m2. There's fun for the whole family: six slides, waterfalls and water play equipment. There is also a paddling pool. The swimming pool lies in a lavish garden with trees and sunbathing lawns. A new spray park has also opened recently! 

Playa Montroig is situated next to a stunning, vast sandy beach that is 1km long. The beach has lifeguards and a jetty. An extensive activity programme for all ages can be enjoyed at the beach club on the beach itself. Canoes and pedal surfing can also be hired during the high season.

Dance with Roggi or relax in the Japanese Garden

The numerous (sports) facilities at this outstanding camping in Spain ensure plenty of fun for young and old alike! There is paddle tennis, football, basketball, volleyball, tennis and mini golf, to name just a few of the possibilities. Not only that but different tournaments and championships are organised every summer. The little ones will enjoy the mini club where under the guidance of Roggi the Mascot they can enjoy fun crafts and games. Fantastic play parks are situated on the campsite and on the beach, providing you with hours of entertainment. The large open air theatre regularly features spectacular evening shows put on by the entertainment team, and different films are shown in the loft every day.

Sports enthusiasts can head to the fitness centre next to the swimming pool complex, where they'll find a cardio room and a strength training area. There is also a wellness centre that has a steam bath, massage facilities, beauty treatments and a tranquil Japanese Garden.

Good to know: the train tracks across the campsite that has caused noise disturbance in the past is no longer in use.

Food for all tastes

Head to the Grill restaurant for scrumptious fish and meat dishes, or La Terrassa restaurant if you're in the mood for a typical Mediterranean dish. In total there are nine bars as well as a disco lounge where you can hit the dance floor. There is no need to worry about any noise as the disco lounge is set out of earshot.

There are many picturesque villages and towns to visit whilst staying at camping Playa Montroig. Close by, Cambrils, Reus and Tarragona are certainly worth a visit. In Tarragona there are several Roman structures that are on the UNESCO World Heritage list, such as the amphitheatre. A little further away lies the world-renowned city of Barcelona where you simply have to visit the Sagrada Família, La Rambla and Park Güell. Tip: enjoy a family day out at the PortAventura World theme park.
