The climate on the Adriatic coast
In April, the average temperature is around 20 degrees Celsius, and in July and August, it can get quite hot, with temperatures around 30 degrees Celsius. In September, it is wonderfully warm with around 24 degrees Celsius, simply perfect for an Indian summer! The sea temperature is around 14 degrees Celsius in April, about 26 degrees Celsius in July and August, and an average of 23 degrees Celsius in September.
Food on the Adriatic coast
On the Adriatic coast, a lot of fish is eaten, including anchovies and swordfish. You can also enjoy various traditional pastas, pizzas, and the freshest ice cream here. A typical regional dish is Polenta, a delicious warm corn cake that you absolutely must try at least once! Many dishes with fresh fish and seafood are also served. Another recommendation is Piadina Romagnola, a flatbread that is freshly prepared in the kitchen and served straight from the oven. The day usually starts with a cappuccino and a sweet roll.
