Around Lake Garda there are several Roan campsites from where you can easily and quickly visit the Monte Baldo mountain range. The area around Lake Garda has a warm maritime climate with cool winters and warm summers. So here you can have a wonderful time during the summer. The campsite closest to Monte Baldo is Camping San Vito/Cisano. From here it is about an hour's drive to the town of Malcesine. San Vito and Cisano are two separate campsites connected by a small tunnel. This allows you to use the facilities at both campsites! For example, Cisano even has its own sandy beach.
San Vito/Cisano is located just above the old fortified town of Lazise. The other Roan campsites in this area are located south of this town. This makes it a slightly longer drive (about 10 to 20 minutes) from these campsites to Monte Baldo. Roan's camping offer also extends to the western side of Lake Garda. From here it does take a lot longer to drive to Monte Baldo; namely about 2 hours. For the true nature lover, however, this is definitely worth it!
